Charles Jay Ferguson, 54, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 10, 2002. He was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned a Purple Heart. He is survived by his sons, Clifford J. Ferguson and wife, Lisa, and Raymond S. Ferguson; a granddaughter, Serena Ferguson, all of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Shirley Eyler of Questa, NM, Phyllis Bekaert and husband, Duke of Kingman, AZ, Brenda Garcia and husband, Joe; step-father, Edwin Malachowski, all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Malachowski; and father, Ralph Ferguson. Services will be held Friday, September 13, 2002, at 12:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
