Martha B. Weathers, owner of Weathers Store, Antiques and RV, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at a Texas care center. At her request, no service is scheduled. Memorials may be made in Martha's name to the United Church of Roy, Roy, NM 87743 or to the Living Tree Memorial, Box 347 Eagle Nest, NM 87718. Martha B. Weathers was born July 20, 1906 in St. Louis, MO. She lived for many years in Roy and Eagle Nest, NM. Martha was a member of the United Church in Roy and was also a member of the Mizpah Chapter #47 Order of the Eastern Star and the Roy Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Weathers, in 1998. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood and Vitas Hospice for the excellent care and kindness shown. Survivors include daughters, Linda Whale and husband, Dale of Sandia Park, NM and Roy, NM and Martha Siau and husband, Charlie of Portales, NM and Roy, NM; grandchildren, Aiyana, Aydin Lujan and Ky Joshua Niccore of Auckland, New Zealand; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
