Obituary for Pepin

Charlene Hoesch Pepin, 64, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Gerald A. Pepin of Albuquerque. Charlene and Jerry raised a wonderful family of five children in the Albuquerque area. Vicki and her husband, Mark Maguire and their children of Mount Pleasant, SC, Therese and her husband, Steve Speer and their children of Roswell, Russell and his wife, Susan and their children of George West, TX and Kenneth and his fiancé, Dan Holmes of Alpharetta, GA. Her son, Andrew preceded her in death one year ago. Charlene was a very loving mother and grandmother. Charlene was born September 23rd, 1937 to Annette and Charles Hoesch in Abilene, KS. Her father died while Charlene was just a child and her mother remarried Ernest Brandt who raised and loved Charlene greatly. Charlene had a great love for her brother Virgil, his wife, Sue and family of Bosque Farms. Charlene graduated from Abilene High School and pursued her love of music with the piano and guitar at the College of Music in Abilene. Charlene met and fell in love with Jerry, and they married in October of 1955. Charlene and Jerry began a life raising a family on love and faith. They pursued many successful business ventures, first in Massachusetts where Jerry's family was from and later in New Mexico for the past 46 years.
