Obituary for Maldonado

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday September 21, 2002

Mark Christopher Galvan Maldonado passed away September 19, 2002. Mark, first of all, we'd like to thank God for the privilege of borrowing you for 31 years. You epitomize the true character of Jesus Christ. You are kind, compassionate, gracious, and see others the way God sees them. Your sense of humor is like none other, and reminds us of the way Jesus views life. You've touched countless lives, especially your beloved sisters and your parents. We pray that God will give us the strength to endure life without you until we see you again. We love you and miss you terribly."We are confident I say and willing rather to be absent from the body and present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mark's nursing staff for their dedication and compassion. Their tireless efforts allowed Mark to live life as fully as possible. We will be forever grateful. Mark was a 1990 graduate of Manzano High School. He is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Susie Maldonado; sisters, Lisa Maldonado of Albuquerque and Cathy Jones and husband, Mark of Rio Rancho; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Viewing will be Sunday, September 22, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 5:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
