Obituary for Hitchcock

Warren E. Hitchcock, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Tuesday, September 24, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Delia F. Hitchcock, sons; Denis Hitchcock of Albuquerque, Jan Hitchcock of Dallas, Dale Hitchcock and wife Regina of Las Vegas, NV, and Boyd Hitchcock of Phoenix; daughter, Lynn Boldt and husband Ken of Albuquerque; step-children, Dindo and Judylyn Rojas; and grandchildren, Lorraine, Shawn, Sonya, Erik, and Evonne. Mr. Hitchcock served in the Army during WWII and was later retired from General Electric. He met his wife in the Philippines after corresponding with her for several years and brought her back to this country. Warren was an avid gardener and was especially proud of his tomatoes and prize-winning flowers. He also enjoyed going to the American Legion Post #49 with his wife where he was a member. Services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, Col. USAF, (Ret) officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, September 26, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
