Robert"Bob" Danforth May 11, 1927 - September 30, 2002Robert"Bob" Danforth, 75, a long time resident of Belen passed away on Monday, September 30, 2002. He was an avid bowler at Sugar Bowl Lanes and Bosque Farms Bowling Alley. Bob was a well-known businessman owning and operating"Bob's Welding" for over 31 years. He was also known around the community for his love of music and dancing. Preceding him in death were his mother, Ethel Danforth in 1993; his father, Harry Danforth in 1945; and his sister, Betty Doty in 1975. Bob is survived by his loving daughter, Nicole Danforth and her fiancé, Marcus Head of Tennessee; and his sister, Thelma Coffey and her husband, Herman of Belen. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear friends. All services will be held at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will take place on October 2, 2002 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. and will follow with interment at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Goodson, Charlie Myers, John English, Karl Hoffman, Max Montano, Leonard King, Dustin Watson, and Terry Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wes Watson and Max Coffey.
