Dorothy Ann Cowdrey, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1991, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. She is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Marie Ellis and husband, Nevin of Arkansas and Jeanette Grimes and husband, Jack of California; and caregivers, Doug and Mary Sue Whitaker of Tijeras and many friends. Mrs. Cowdrey was preceded in death by her brother, William D. Williams. She enjoyed watching all sports on TV and reading books of all kinds. Her personality was generous and kind hearted. Mrs. Cowdrey loved her cats. Graveside services will take place at Rosehill Cemetery in Whittier, California. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
