John Lawrence Cotinola was called to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, September 28, 2002. He was living in Carson City, Nevada. John is survived by his wife, Carmen Cotinola; step-daughters, Sandra Perez, Yolanda Vela and husband, Carlos; two granddaughters and four grandsons; mother, Cathy (Katy) Cotinola; sister, Judy Cotinola Ramos and husband, Armando; niece, Danielle Brittney Ramos; John was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan, he enjoyed football, basketball and Nascar Racing. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2002 in San Felipe de Neri Church at Old Town with Fr. Jerome Plotkowski celebrant. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors is handling the arrangements.
