Emma Lee Watson, age 81, and a resident of Albuquerque, died October 3, 2002. Emma was born on July 17, 1921 to the late John Coffelt and Carrie (Jorgenson) Coffelt. Survivors include son, Sidney Leon Watson of Manhattan KS; sisters, Mildred Thwaits of Hurley NM, Edna Coffelt of Silver City, NM, Jowilla Riggs and husband, Gene of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Allen Coffelt of Gila, NM; and one grandchild, Tracy Watson. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Dale Watson in January of 1986. She was employed by White Winrock Hotel for over 20 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Haines Ward. No flowers please. However, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5800 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2002 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 5709 Haines Ave. NE with Brother Arguile officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE is in charge of arrangements.
