Obituary for Trujillo

Louie L. Trujillo, 53, of Cuba, NM., and formerly of Albuquerque North Valley, was tragically killed in an accident in Ponderosa, New Mexico, October 1, 2002. He served US Marine Corps during Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. Louie was formerly employed at Sandia National Laboratory and currently worked for Triple A Propane. He also served as a special operations driver for the Forest Service, most recently at the Lake Fire in Jemez. Louie enjoyed living in Cuba. He enjoyed¯ its mountains, the people, eating and socializing at Del Prado. He is survived by his children, Tanya and Chico and their mother, Nina, LeAnn and Leonard and their mother, Martina; his parents, Ruben and Bennie Trujillo; sisters, Darlene Forgette and husband, Leon, and Liz Roybal; brothers, Roman, Michael, Gilbert and wife, Lynette, and John Trujillo; ten nieces and nephews, and extended family in Puerto Rico and Belen; numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.¯¯ Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th and Alameda. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2002. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2002 with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
