Obituary for Lewis

Mr. Earl T. Lewis, 74, a resident of Albuquerque and formally of New York passed away on October 3, 2002. Mr. Lewis is survived by his mother, Martha F. Lewis; a brother, Jerry Lewis; a sister, Cheryl Lewis; his loving companion of 12 years, Sarah Grimm; his best friend, Billy Grimm; his"gang", Julian Grimm, Jocelin Grimm, Sarah Grimm and Angelica Grimm. He is preceded in death by a brother, David Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korean War, a life member of the D.A.V. Chapter #3, a member of the American Legion Post 100, Sgt. at Arms at Post 100, District 9 Vice Commander for 4 years. A visitation for Mr. Lewis will be Sunday evening after 5:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Committal service will be held Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Ron Contreras, Ron Butler, Thompson Jake, Paul Salazar, Richard Gutierrez and Tony Escarza. Honorary pallbearer will be the Legionaries of Post 100. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of the arrangements. 243-7861
