Tim Torres, 40, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Gil and Alice Torres; brothers, Gil Torres, Jr. and Gregory Torres; grandmother, Amelia Maetas, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and last but not least his dog, Yokum. Tim graduated from Del Norte High School. His friends considered him an expert with computers. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Florence Luna reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Gallegos, David Chavez, Marty Luna, Eddie Gallegos, Dick Sarraccino, Brandon Torres and Chester Lovato. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Gutierrez, Dennis Gutierrez and Tim Gutierrez. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE, Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
