Gayle Kenney, age 69, and a lifelong resident of New Mexico died October 10, 2002. Gayle was born on July 1, 1933 to the late Tommy and George Anna (Stone) Hopkins. Survivors include her husband, Judson W. Kenney of the family home; mother-in-law, Kathryn R. Kenney; cousins, Effie Mae Washburn and Georgia L. Bergsten; good friend, Jean Kempenich and many other good friends. Gayle was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity at UNM. Graveside Services and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE is handling her arrangements.
