Obituary for Gurule

Gertrude M. Gurule a resident of Bernalillo passed away on October 23, 2002. Gertrude is survived by one brother, Tony Gurule and wife, Lupe of Bernalillo, NM; three sisters, Josephine Gurule of Bernalillo, Jane Sandoval and husband, Ernie of Albuq. and Domie Aragon of Bernalillo; 30 nieces and nephews; Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Frances Gurule; a sister, Bertha Lucero; a brother, Toby Gurule; and a niece Rita Dodson. Gertrude was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Blue Army. A visitation will be Friday evening after 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Blue Army. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Virgil Furfaro. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Herman Lucero, Joseph Gurule, Lawrence Aragon, Dennis Gurule, Richard Montano, James Salazar, Robert Lucero and Paul Gurule.
