Obituary for McKeever

Thomas James McKeever (T.J.), 58, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 17, 2002. Tom was dearly loved by his family and many friends and highly admired by the local music community for his outstanding ability as a jazz pianist. He was born on December 10, 1943 in Jamestown, NY. He is survived by his father and mother, James and Francis McKeever of Ocklawaha, FL; one daughter, Michelle Carlson; four brothers, Dennis McKeever and wife, Sharon, Richard McKeever and wife, Ruth, John McKeever and wife, Pam, and Michael McKeever and wife, Roseann; two sisters, Merri-Lou McKeever and husband, Les Medall and Susie Fisher and husband, David; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved New Mexico family, Kathleen Earl; son, Jonathan Earl; daughter, Julie Garrison; and two grandsons, Michael and Nicholas Garrison. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia McKeever; and one grandson, Jon Eric Carlson. Cremation has taken place and a gathering of friends will be held at a later date.
