Rodrigo B. Garcia,"Rudy", 53, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, passed away on October 29, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Garcia of Albuquerque; children, Norina Abeyta and husband, Joseph of Banks, OR, Julie Martinez and husband, Roger, Santos Garcia and girlfriend, Crystal Martinez and Christina Garcia; mother, Julia Garcia; one brother, David Garcia; and one sister, Frances Garcia; mother-in-law, Delfina Sandoval all of Albuquerque; two brothers-in-law, Samuel Sandoval and wife, Betty of Fremont, CA, Rupert Sandoval and wife, Adela of Bernalillo; grandchildren, Cassidy (Maria Linda), Destiny (Rose), Adan (A.J.), Antonio and another grandchild expected in June. He is also survived by his two Godchildren, David Lucero and Sarah Padilla and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Santos Garcia; his Godfather, Santiago Baca; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Mae Garcia. Rodrigo enjoyed sports, music and dancing. The one thing that made him the happiest was being together with his family. Memorial rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks N. of Paseo del Norte) with Deacon Sylvestre Garcia, reciting. Memorial scripture service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Deacon Sylvestre Garcia, officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lucero, Moises Rodriguez, Eddie Bononcini, Randy McAfee and Salomon Sedillo.
