Toribio"Toby" Candelaria, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, November 8, 2002.¯He is survived by his wife, Eva Candelaria; son, Patrick Candelaria; grandson, Shane Candelaria; granddaughters, Eva Marie Candelaria and Renee Chavez; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Candelaria, Monica Candelaria, Ashley Moya and Valerie; special sister-in-law, Lily Fierro; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.¯He was preceded in death by his sons, Ernest and Steve Candelaria.¯Toby was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed his retirement by traveling throughout the states.¯ Rosary will be recited Sunday, 8:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW, with Deacon Manuel Facio reciting.¯ Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Joe Vigil, Celebrant.¯Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.¯Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
