Obituary for Ayres

Cecil Frank Ayres of Meadow Lake, NM, a WW II Navy Veteran, passed away on November 8, 2002 at Laurel Heights Nursing Home. He was born in Raton, NM on February 9, 1918. He will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, parents Ora and Joseph Ayres; sisters Agnes Ayres, Myrtie Ayres, and Viola Davis. Survivors include sons, Erick and wife Sharon of Chandler, Arizona, Rick and wife Kathy, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Rock of Meadow Lake, New Mexico. He is survived by grandchildren Justin Ayres, Travis Ayres, ErickaGhahreman, Troy Ayres, Melissa Shelton, and great-grandson, Coby Shelton, many nieces and nephews, especially the Helen and Marion Davis family of Albuquerque, and Vincente Garcia of Meadow Lake, NM, a very good friend of Betty and Cecil for many years. Survivors also include his brother Clarence Ayres, and sisters Alice Stancel, Kay Akin, and Sally Heath. At his request, no services are to be held. Donations may be made to the Presbyterian Hospice.
