Florence C. Koehler, 82, a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, passed away November 8, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert L. Koehler, Jr. of Rio Rancho; sons, Robert L. Koehler III, John and Richard Koehler; daughter, Kristin Koehler; and seven grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for all the kindness offered to them by Florence's many friends. They would also like to thank Mr. Scott Porter, Mrs. Koehler's very special Hospice Nurse from Zia Hospice, for his compassion and his care to make her comfortable in her final days. Mrs. Koehler was a very active member of the All Saints Luthern Church and also active with the Sandoval County Historical Society. A Memorial Service was held Monday, November 11, 2002. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the All Saints Luthern Church, c/o the Memorial Fund, 4800 All Saints Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Cremation arrangements by the Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.
