Sgt. Leonard R. Baca, born February 20, 1940 died Wednesday, November 13, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 62. Mr. Baca is survived by his wife of 33 years, Betty Baca; one sister, Ramona and husband, Louis Garcia; sons, Michael, Carlos, Demetrio, Richard and wife, Ramona; four daughters, Ieane and husband, Ruben Garcia, Michelle and husband, Paul Aguilar, Lisa and husband, Tony Aguilar, Denise and husband, Joe Martinez; 21 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He will be remembered by many loved ones. Memorial Services for Mr. Baca will be held on Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be Emmanuel, Alfred, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremy, Isaac and Daniel. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
