Joseph S. Tafoya, age 23, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2002. He is the beloved son of Alice and Charlie Mora and Steve and Pauline Tafoya, he is also survived by his brother Daniel Tafoya; step-sisters, Leona Barela and Victoria Tafoya; grandparents Juanita Artiaga, Merced and Annabelle Tafoya; step-nephew Elias Tafoya; uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Services will be held at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2002 at 7:00pm. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Artiaga, Rick Artiaga, David Artiaga, George Artiaga, Rick Artiaga Jr, and Isaac Chavez.
