Cleo V. D'Angelo, of Independence, ascended into heaven, November 20, 2002 at her home. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2002 at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Cremation. Memorials to the Cleo V. D'Angelo Scholarship Fund at the University of Health Science 1750 Independence Ave., Kansas City, MO 64016 or to the St. Mark's Catholic Church Music Dept. 3736 Lee's Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Cleo was born in Diller, NE to William O. and Hazel (Powell) Green. She was wife to Vincent F. D'Angelo for 48 years. Cleo was a homemaker, a teacher, pianist, singer, nature lover, outdoorswoman who loved fishing, flowers, and animals, philanthropist and protector of Digitalis, Nappy, Natale and Sunshine (her pets).
