Obituary for Schall

Melvin B. Schall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at his home in Albuquerque, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his loving daughters, Patricia Consterdine, Debbie Griego, Joyce Lopez and husband, Jose, Marlene Stokes and husband, Keith, all of New Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Kim Fujimori of San Francisco, CA, Mike and Daniel Fujimori of Los Angeles, CA, Jason and Jamey Griego, Danielle and Brandy Lopez, and Josh, Justin, and Chelsea Hannamann, all of New Mexico; 4 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan, and Jordan Fujimori, all of Los Angeles, CA, and Morgan Acosta of New Mexico; sister, Jean Davis of Pennsylvania; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Schall was born on June 3, 1920. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant for the 458th, 230th Airborne in 1945, later retiring from Levi Strauss in 1982. He will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 25, 2002, 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, November 24, 2002, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
