Obituary for Clements

Coy H. Clements, 80, a 22-year resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, November 20, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mayme Clements of Albuquerque; daughter, Dianne Paris and husband, Duel of Logan, NM; granddaughter, Dina Clark of Tucumcari, NM; grandsons, Dwayne Paris and wife, Amy of Clayton, NM and Rodney Paris and wife, Linnea of Logan, NM; 2 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Paris and Jantzen Paris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Clements was born in Hope, AR and grew up there until entering the United States Navy during WWII. He went to work for Texaco in Ft. Worth, TX. He married Mayme N. Horn in 1960 and they moved to Red River, NM in 1964 where they owned and operated The Valley Lodge for 11 years. They then traveled for three years. They worked for Cawuls and Davis for seven years. Mr. Clements was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ft. Worth, TX from which he received his 50-year pin. He was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2002, 1:30 p.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution Ave. NE, with Dr. Robert J. Butler officiating. Interment will take place Monday, November 25, 2002, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, November 22, 2002, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice, 8300 Constitution NE, 87110.
