C.E."Joe" Young, 56 beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend died on Tuesday, November 27, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada where he had been a resident for 4 years.¯Joe was born in Joplin, Missouri and moved to Albuquerque as a baby.¯He was a 1964 graduate of St. Pius High School as well as the University of New Mexico.¯ He was an avid outdoorsman whose personal goal was to remove every bass from Lake Mead.¯He left a few for the rest of us.¯Joe is survived by his loving wife, Barbara of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter Maggie and son Bob, both of Las Vegas; son Tim of Aurora, Colorado; mother Helen Young of Rio Rancho; and sister Sally Clement and husband Gene of Rio Rancho.¯He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.¯A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 30th at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Blvd. in Las Vegas, Nevada.¯Services in Albuquerque are pending.
