Jesus Sanchez, 80, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2002. He was born on February 26, 1922 in Atrisco, NM. Mr. Sanchez enjoyed woodwork, yard work and music. He also enjoyed standing at the pier in Malibu, CA, and thinking of his days in the service. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary K. Sanchez; children, Lawrence and Deann Sanchez of Westlake, CA, Elise S. Sanchez of Albuq., and Charles J. Sanchez also of Albuq.; sisters, Luggie Montano and husband, Tom, and Nenrica Gonzales and husband, Dan of Albuq; brother, Tony Sanchez of Albuq.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Sanchez will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Sangre De Cristo Church in Peralta, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church also in Peralta, NM. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuq.. Pallbearers will be Martin Kozlowski, Don Kozlowski, William Chavez, Joan Sanchez, Frank Baca and Tommy Montano. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
