Cecil Francis Loewen, 93 passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2002. Cecil was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on August 5, 1909; she lived in Dalhart, Texas prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1955. Cecil was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reuben in 1971; her son, Herman in 1991; and four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters; Rovenia Munsell and husband Harold of Conchas Dam, NM; Doris Stovall of Albuquerque; and 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Ms. Loewen's grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. Cecil was a long time member of Temple Baptist church. Services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Fern Chapel Strong-Thorne Mortuary, with Rev. Goldman officiating. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Services for Ms. Loewen are under the direction of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. S.E.
