Obituary for Shover

Captain Frank E. Shover, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice M. Shover of Albuquerque; son, Frank Edward Shover, Jr. and wife, Mirese of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Carolin Jane Pyzik and husband, Roger of Onsted, MI; son, William Reynolds Shover and wife, Betty of Denver, CO; daughter, Claudia Rae Daily and husband, Gary of Topeka, KS; son, Kerry Bradley Shover of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Shover served in the U.S. Army during both WWII and the Korean Conflict and was highly decorated. He was a member of the Ballut Abyad Shrine and Masonic Lodge #72. Mr. Shover was an active member of Sandia Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and music. Mr. Shover was also interested in photography. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE, with Dr. Bob Butler officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
