Obituary for Courtin

Hazel Elizabeth Courtin, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died peacefully on November 21 after a long illness. An only child, she was born to Nettie and Ralph McCall on December 10, 1919 in St. Louis, MO, and grew up there. Hazel is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Courtin, two daughters; Crystal Menefee of Santa Fe and Judy Petre of Jacomba, CA, son; Joseph Phillips of Murrieta, CA, two step-sons; Thomas Courtin of Albuquerque and Roderick Courtin of Phoenix, AZ, two step-daughters; Teri Boggess of Hanford, CA, and Connie Cooke of Fullerton, CA. Hazel retired from A & A Insurance Co. in 1981. She was a member of Edelweiss AM Rio Grande German American Club for 36 years. Cremation has taken place. Hazels remains will be interred in her mothers grave at Sandia Memory Gardens. Friends and family will gather at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2002 to pay their respects.
