Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday December 11, 2002

The family of Evangeline Celina Lovato is sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, wise matriarch and devoted wife."Vangie" left her family and everyone who had the privilege to know her a legacy of unconditional love that knew no limits in time or space. In her 80 years of service to not only her immediate family but also the children of her brothers and sisters and others in need, she listened, consoled, and unselfishly reached out with her every available resources. Her greatest satisfaction in life was knowing that we, her flock of children, were well fed and enriched with her safe wisdom and unconditional love. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Msgt. Frank V. Lovato, ret.; children and families, Maria, Debbie and Patrick of Albuquerque and Francisco of Northern California. All of her 16 grand and great-grandchildren will miss her delicious snacks, hugs and kisses. Rosary will be held at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE, 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2002.
