Herbert D. Abbott, born December 23, 1938 to Sam and Lena Abbott in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Monday December 9, 2002 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Regina of the family home; daughter, Sarah; son, Charles; and one grandchild. Herbert is also survived by his brother, Hoyt Abbott; and sisters, Lera Stokes, Martha Lester, and Dorothy Jones. His parents, Sam and Lena Abbott; and his sister, Pearie Abbott preceded him in death. Herbert retired from Sandia Labs after 25 years as a Health Physicist.
