Mary Ulibarri, 74, a resident of Veguita, NM, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosario and Sara Fontana; two brothers, Tony and Louie Fontana; and one sister, Josephine Hudson. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Benny Ulibarri; her children, Robert Ortega, Jr. of Vista, CA; Marie Richardson of Dublin, CA; Yolanda Alvarez, Cindy Cardnes, and Toni Watt, all of San Bernardino, CA; Roberta Lopez of La Puente, CA; Lorriane Ortega of Walla Walla, WA; Olivia Patton of Littleton, CO; Robert Ulibarri of Las Vegas, NV; and Albert Ulibarri of Fontana, CA; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosie Gentry of Covina, CA, Margo Reinhard of Carlton, TX, Carmen Rain of Azusa, CA; and two brothers, Rosario, Jr. of El Monte, CA and Frank Fontana of Woodlake, CA. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held in California with interment following in Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California at a later date.
