Obituary for Gonzales

Mr. Isauro C. Gonzales, born to Pedro and Casimira Gonzales on January 30, 1921 in Colonias, NM, died Monday, December 9, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 81. He joined the Merchant Marines and served throughout World War II. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a foster grandparent for 17 years. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Donaciano Gonzales, Charlotte (Carlie) Gonzales, Albert Gonzales and wife, Rose, Manuel Gonzlaes and wife, Mary. He is also survived by two special nephews, Felipe Gonzales and Albert Gonzales. He was preceded in death by sister, Placida Madrid and brothers, Carmal Gonzales and Jose Gonzales. Funeral Services for Mr. Gonzales will be held on Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tony Madrid, Carmen Gonzales Jr., Michael Madrid, Anthony Gonzales, Maurice Chavez and Tony Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Bennie Gonzales, Mannie Gonzales and Bernie Gonzales. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
