Ernest Ernie Brake Jr., 67, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, December 10, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Patricia"Pat" Brake; daughter, Denae Brake-Byrd and husband, Robert Byrd; son, Bryan Brake; daughter, Stacey Brake; dog and buddy, Shogun, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Norman Brake and Darrell Brake; and sisters, Ruth Ballentine, Geneva Ellison, Carolyn Hudson, and Patricia Ragsdale. Mr. Brake was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Beulah Brake; and brothers, Harvey and Eldon Brake. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, and kind husband and father, who was always independent, never a quitter, and forever strong. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2002, at 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
