Helen Irene Andrews, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, died Friday, December 6, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Andrews, Sr. of Albuquerque; son, Robert L. Andrews, Jr. and wife, Kathleen; grandson, Michael K. Andrews, all of Edgewood; sister, Billie Bent of Springfield, MO; and brother, Don Adkins and wife, Jo of Conway, MO. Mrs. Andrews was a member of Lew Wallace Chapter National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, Missouri State Historical Society, Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity of Kansas City, Kansas Community College and past member of New Mexico Art League. She attended St. Mary's College in Leavenworth, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment of cremains will take place at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
