Emma B. Eres, 92, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on Friday, December 13, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roberto Eres of Albuquerque; daughters, Toni Gutierrez and Rita Short, both of Albuquerque, Stella Centopani and husband, William of Nokomis, FL, and Marjorie Burciaga and husband, Oracio of El Paso, TX; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Emma was an active member of El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. Services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church, 700 Granite NW, with Pastor Jesus Bermudez officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Monday, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
