Amalia S. Brito, 89, passed away December 21, 2001. She was born in Penasco, married Luciano Brito in 1934 and moved to Dixon, NM. They moved to Alameda in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Brito in 1996. She is survived by son, Silviano Brito; grandchildren, Kathy Kempel and husband, Nathan, Kenneth Brito and wife, Laura, Karen Haligan and husband, Sean; great-great-grandchildren, Sunny, Andrew, and Shelby; brother, Julian Sanchez; sisters, Geneva Sanchez, and Carmen Montoya; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Memorial Services will be held at Nativity Catholic Church with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2001, Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday 28, 2001.
