Paul M. Ortiz a lifelong resident of New Mexico born December 31, 1948 went on his journey on December 21, 2001 at the age of 52. He proudly served our country with the United States Marine Corps at age 19, he also served in the Vietnam War. Paul was a loving son, husband, brother, father, and friend. survivors include his mother, Ramona Ortiz of Acomita Pueblo; wife, Ellen Ortiz of Santa Ana Pueblo; brothers, Robert Ortiz of Santa Ana Pueblo, and Michael Ortiz of Indiana; sister, Gerri Troivio of Grants, NM; daughters, Monika, Janelle and Jaclyn Oritz ; and also grandchildren, Krystal and Jordan Chavez and Tyra Ortiz-Shije of Santa Ana Pueblo; Godchildren, Selina, Branden, Brandi Keryte of Isleta Pueblo, Terrance Lucero of Rio Rancho, NM, Ross and Ty Menchego of Santa Pueblo. Paul is also survived by many dear family and friends too numerous to acknowledge.
