Obituary for Nauert

Virginia K. Nauert, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Monday, December 24, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Austin G. Nauert of Albuquerque; daughter, Nancy K. Tubbs and husband George of Portland, OR; sons, Richard A. Nauert of Wichita, KS, Paul G. Nauert and wife Barbara of Delmar, CA, Peter D. Nauert and wife Beebe of Olathe, KS and Robert C. Nauert and wife Karen of Rocklin, CA; and granddaughters, Bethany, Angela and Blakeley Nauert and Summer King and her husband Kyle. Virginia was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. Degree. She was a member of Delta Gamma Social Faternity for over 60 years, a volunteer in the Republican Party for over 30 years in Kansas and New Mexico and a longtime active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Rev. Dr. Paul Debenport and Rev. Myron White officiating.
