David Matthew Allen, 25, of Bosque Farms, beloved son, friend, and servant of Christ, went to Glory Saturday, December 22, 2001. David is survived by his parents, Jim and Linda Allen of Bosque Farms; uncle, Kim Allen of IL; aunt, Nancy Bordenave of Albuquerque; and cousins, Dayna Melvin of Albuquerque, Yvonne Christner of Alaska and Tiffany O'Connell of Tennessee, and Phoenix Carroll of Georgia. He was a distance runner and he died doing what he loved to do. David served as a missionary in Mexico after graduating from UNM in 1999. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Blvd. NE, with Pastors Edwin Shepperson and Bruce Lininger officiating. In lieu of flowers, David requested contributions be made to the Gospel for Asia c/o Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
