Dorothy M. West, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Tuesday, September 11, 2001. She is survived by her son, Dale R. West, Jr. of Long Beach, CA; daughters, Patricia A. Dahlgren of Las Vegas, NV and Linda C. Faire of Albuquerque; sister, Anilee Taylor of Maryland; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. West was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dale R. West, Sr., owner of Interior Shutter Supply; and grandson, Daniel West. She loved music, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
