Obituary for Woosley

Mamie Marguerite Woosley, 87, passed away March 12, 2001 after an extended illness. Two children, Beth Pleus Albuquerque, and Raymond Cook Daniel, Jr. and wife, Evelyn, Porterdale, GA, survive her; grandchildren, are Karen Pleus-Griego and husband, Steve, and Kristin Pleus-Hodges and husband, Carter, all of Albuquerque, and Kim Hollomon and husband, Mark, Kennesaw, GA, and Raymond C. Daniel, III ("Chip") and wife, Laurie, Newborn, GA; great-grandchildren are Logan Hollomon, Kemstar and Chad Daniel, and Jamison Hodges; two sisters, Helen Swinney, Stone Mountain, GA, and Betty Heryford, Vallejo, CA; sisters-in-law, Willie Anglin, Ormond Beach, FL, and Lily Dagenhart, Riverdale, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her brother, Ralph; and her son-in-law, John Pleus predeceased her. Mrs. Woosley was born and raised in North Carolina before moving with her parents to live in Atlanta, GA. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, where she worked as an auditor for Sears for many years. At death, she resided at Manzano del Sol Healthcare Center. Honored by her request, Mrs. Woosley has been accepted for scientific study at the Anatomical Research Department, University of New Mexico School of Medicine. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 23, 2001, 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Myron White officiating.
