Obituary for Bonnel

Eula Mae Atchley Bonnel, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 23 years, left for her eternal home on Sunday, March 11, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Kent and husband, Larry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joyce Reese and husband, Martin of Spanish Fork, Utah; son, Jerry Riggs and wife, Toby, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Eula moved to Kansas City, Missouri from Oklahoma at the age of 51. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri for 50 years where she was employed by Wolferman's Grocery Stores for 15 years until their closing. Eula moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1978 from Kansas City, Missouri. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had been involved in the American Business Women's Association and the Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7900, Kansas City, Missouri. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her smile and spirit will always be with us. Services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Manzano Ward, 12701 Indian School. Friends may visit from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Church Relief Society Room. Arrangements by French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
