Monica E. Zamora, 17, went home to the Lord on February 15, 2001. Monica was born in Albuquerque on July 9, 1983. She is survived by her mother, Susie Muniz; stepfather, Larry L. Maez; father, Michael Zamora; grandparents, Ted and Alice Muniz, Sadie Maez, and Mary Lou and Rupert Zamora; her great grandparents, Lupita Muniz and Agapita Tafoya. She is also survived by her brothers, Larry D. Maez and Robert Muniz; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the 8th Street Chapel at Garcia Mortuary, with at Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday Morning at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ivan Archuleta, Robert Ortega, Cecil Muniz, Joe Garcia, Lawrence Lucero, and Marcial Ortega. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW. 243-5222.
