Obituary for Burton

Margaret A. Burton, 73, born in Santa Fe on November 1, 1927, formerly of Albuquerque and a resident of Belen for the past two years, passed away on February 14, 2001. She was a member of the Eastern Star Society and of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Chester Skinner, her two brothers, Elton and Chester, and her three sisters, Marjorie, Mildred and Mary Alice. Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Beckie Torres of Belen, and Linda Marriott and husband, Jerry of San Antonio, TX; her grandsons, Scott, Wesley and wife, Jennifer, Eric, and Billy and wife, Renee, Sabino II and Mayra, Anthony and Allie; her great-grandchildren, Morgan and Tristin, Joshua and Annastancia, Annmarisa, Sabino III and Ariel; her two nieces, Karen and Rae; her cousins, Billie Daniels, Loritha, and Fredo McFall; she is also survived by many other family members; her very close and dear friends, Judy Vanetta and Shirley Sawin; and many other friends throughout the years of her wonderful life. With the utmost love and respect for Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service to be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home Chapel.
