Obituary for Hughes

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday July 01, 2001

In Loving Memory of Anthony "Tony" Wayne Hughes April 15, 1958 - July 1, 2000 It has now been a whole year since God called you home. My precious husband and friend, it doesn't seem like that much time has passed. Everywhere I turn there is your spot. Your spot at the dinner table, your spot in the car, your spot in the Living room. Everywhere I turn there is a spot that you should fill. Even though it's been a year I still cry. Everyday I think of something that I should have said. I miss your hugs, your laughter, your smile, and your giving tender heart. Time will never erase the precious memories we have of you. We miss you so much and wish you were here. We have memories now, with your pictures in frames. Our memories are our keepsakes, for which we will forever treasure and hold in our hearts. We know you must be happy where you are because God has you in his keeping, but life just isn't the same without you in it. We miss you so much. God's healing power will take us through the years until God calls each of us home, and once again we'll be united. "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live." John 11:25. If you can see us now, say a prayer and wave. We love and miss you so much. Loving you always, Pam, Kathy and Joseph. Son, you will never be forgotten, love your dad, Jack.
