Rose Salazar McHugh, 81, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 26, 2001. She is survived by her children, Terry McHugh and Kathy McHugh Hodge; son-in-law, Kevin Hodge; and daughter-in-law, Caroline Vickers McHugh; grandchildren, Tera Hodge and William McHugh. Mrs. McHugh was born June 2, 1920 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Albuquerque High School and attended the University of New Mexico. She resided in Albuquerque the majority of her life. Her family were original settlers in New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William James McHugh. She enjoyed a full and happy life. In celebration of her life, a Memorial Mass will be held in Albuquerque at Our Lady of Fatima on Saturday, June 29, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Arthritis Foundation -Greater SW Chapter, 1313 East Osborn Rd. Ste 200, Phoenix Arizona 85014.
