Obituary for Wood

Elizabeth Rose Wood, 88, a resident of the SW Valley of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away June 26, 2001. She is survived by three daughters, Jean DeWalt and husband, Sam of Albuquerque, NM, Elizabeth McDonald and husband, Lake of Titusville, FL, and Theresa Hofheins and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, NM; one son, Tom Higgins and wife Jeanenne of Albuquerque, NM; 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2001, with a rosary to follow in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 30, 2001, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Garden. Pallbearers will be Bradley Higgins, Johnny Higgins, David DeWalt, Stephen DeWalt, Michael DeWalt, Rick Olinger, and Lake McDonald. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of her arrangements.
