Mihai Spilca, 48, a resident of Belen for 20 years, died Sunday, June 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Elena Spilca; son, Mihai Spilca; daughters, Mihaela Spilca and Marica Stefan and husband, Adrian; granddaughter, Adina Stefan; mother, Maria Spilca; brothers, Nicolae Spilca and family and Ilie Spilca and family, all of Belen. Services will be held Thursday, 3:00 p.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with a reception to follow at the church. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
