Charles E. Collins, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, passed away June 24, 2001. He was born in Tucumcari, NM, the son of Sallie Davenport and Bassett Collins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Loveall. Charles or"Chuck" is survived by his children, Carolyn Smith and husband, Rick of Fayetteville, AR, Barbara Hanrahan and husband, Gerry of Albuquerque, and Rick Collins of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Katey and Jackie Smith and Connor, Macaelan and Quin Hanrahan. Chuck was a launch coordinator for the Atomic Energy Commission and later the Department of Energy. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2001 5:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Home, 3113 Carlisle NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Quality Continuum Hospice, 8001 Mountain Rd. NE, 262-5411.
